Sell Clothes Online is an independent UK site with guides and a calculator for selling second-hand clothes.
How the site is funded
We take part in Vinted’s invite-a-friend scheme. If you join Vinted through a link on this site and meet Vinted’s conditions, you receive vouchers and so do we. It costs you nothing. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Vinted, eBay or Depop.
Where the figures come from
- Vinted: No selling fees. You keep the full sale price. Buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee (roughly 3ā8% plus 30pā80p) and postage. (source)
- eBay (private seller): No selling fees for UK private sellers on most categories. Buyer pays a protection fee built into the price: 10p plus 7% up to Ā£20, 4% from Ā£20 to Ā£300. (source)
- Depop: No selling fee, but a payment processing fee of 2.9% + 30p on the total paid. Buyer pays a marketplace fee of up to about 5% plus up to about Ā£1. (source)

Fees change. Always check the platform’s own pages before you rely on a number.
Privacy
This site has no accounts or forms and doesn’t collect personal data. The calculator runs in your browser. When you click an invite link we count the click, without storing anything about you. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Once you’re on Vinted, their privacy policy applies.
